Just For Me was written on a lazy spring day, sitting in my room facing the window. I was practicing other tunes until the motif for this popped up. It was a very relaxing setting, home alone with the sounds of the wind and birds coming through my open window, and the sky so blue contrasting with the tree tops (I live on the top floor of my building). It felt almost magical, this moment in time frozen and in tune with the nature in the most simplest of ways.

The lyrics are an attempt to describe the scenery that succeeded in bringing me so much calm. It's easy to get stressed out, to be hard on yourself, to only focus on the bad. I wanted to focus on the good - to focus on life's simple joys and find love in that.
